MEDSEEK Honored as a Microsoft Public Sector Partner of the Year

Birmingham, AL — MEDSEEK, the industry’s only provider of the optimal 360-degree online healthcare experience, today announced that it was recognized as a 2011 Microsoft U.S. Public Sector Partner of the Year.

“Our partner community plays a vital role in delivering technology solutions that meet the unique needs of customers across government, education and healthcare,” said Michael Robinson, general manager of U.S. Health and Life Sciences Industry at Microsoft. “MEDSEEK has shown incredible dedication to serving the public sector and the company’s recognition as a Partner of the Year is well deserved.”

MEDSEEK integrates the feature-rich business intelligence of its award-winning eHealth ecoSystem into Microsoft’s SharePoint 2010 platform and leverages the platform to engage physicians, patients, consumers and employees, connects information and communities, enhances user experiences, strengthens relationships and improves community advocacy, revenue and patient acquisition/retention, physician relations and clinical decision making.

“We’re very excited to be recognized as a Microsoft Partner of the Year,” said Peter Kuhn, MEDSEEK CEO. “When Microsoft recognizes you, the industry takes notice and we believe this award validates our leadership position in online healthcare solutions. MEDSEEK and Microsoft have developed a very close working relationship and we look forward to developing it further.”

The Microsoft Partner Program is designed for all partners who develop and market solutions based on Microsoft platforms, provide consulting or technical services on Microsoft systems, or recommend Microsoft technology purchases. Microsoft partners include consulting services providers, independent software vendors (ISVs), independent hardware vendors, large account resellers (LARs), original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), support providers, system integrators, system builders, training providers, value-added resellers and value-added providers.

Microsoft honored four partners during its Worldwide Partner Conference 2011, which was held at the Los Angeles Convention Center July 10–14. Winners and finalists were nominated and selected by Microsoft’s U.S. Public Sector team working throughout the nation.
