ExamSoft and ProctorU Embark on New Partnership to Deliver Industry’s First Offline Version of Online Proctoring into Secure Assessments

EdTech leaders join forces to increase assessment integrity for educational institutions across the globe

Birmingham, AL – ExamSoft, a secure testing and assessment platform company based in Dallas, Texas, that provides robust data and analytics to help faculty with accreditation, remediation and increase student outcomes is announcing a strategic partnership with the industry leading digital online proctoring company, ProctorU, to create a comprehensive remote integrity solution.

ExamSoft’s unique exam software enables over 1,500 academic institutions and professional licensure and certification programs to host exams within the most secure type of digital environment. ProctorU Auto is an advanced automated remote proctoring solution that verifies the identity of online test-takers while detecting and deterring academic misconduct through patented AI technology. This combination of educational technology provides ExamSoft users with the first offline remote proctoring solution, powered by ProctorU.

Regardless of the exam format, in-person or online, proctoring (invigilation) is necessary to ensure exam integrity. This fully integrated solution, called ExamMonitor, will seamlessly provide users with the ability to proctor exams electronically, while still benefiting from the security and stability of not requiring an Internet connection during the exam.

“Educators depend on ExamSoft for the peace of mind that comes with our heightened exam security. Now, with ExamMonitor and the power of ProctorU, services for monitoring the exam takers’ actions during the assessment process, educators have the ability to test anywhere, anytime, without compromising the integrity of the assessment,” says Britt Nichols, chief revenue officer of ExamSoft.

ExamSoft and ProctorU will offer their integrated solution in the classroom for the Fall 2019 academic semester. Both companies are focused on creating an exam monitoring experience that is non-invasive and effortless for educators and students alike.

Jarrod Morgan, founder and chief strategy officer, ProctorU states, “This new partnership allows next generation exam security technology to be available in classroom settings, not just online. With the focus on academic integrity currently in the news, it’s more important than ever to make sure we are bringing innovation where it is needed most.”

ExamSoft is now accepting inquiries and presales for any educators or institutions who would like to experience exam monitoring through a robust, data-rich assessment platform.
