PeopleTec Recognized as One of the “Best Places To Work” In Huntsville/Madison County for 2012

Huntsville, ALPeopleTec, Inc. has once again been recognized as one of the “Best Places to Work” in Huntsville/Madison County for 2012. The announcement was made at the 5th Annual Best Places to Work Luncheon, hosted by the Huntsville/Madison County Chamber of Commerce and the North Alabama Society for Human Resource Management (NASHRM) on Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at the Von Braun Center. Over 200 companies were nominated and more than 60 qualified for the annual award, which is based on employee-completed surveys. PeopleTec was one of 20 companies awarded the designation this year and one of five winners in the medium size category (71-200 employees).

Terry Jennings, PeopleTec CEO and Co-founder states, “PeopleTec is honored and humbled that we were selected to be the recipient of this prestigious award for the second year in a row based on survey results from our employees.  We feel fortunate to come to work every day in an organization that cultivates excellence – both culturally and technically.  It’s our goal to be an Employer of Choice, and this award belongs to our greatest asset which is the People at PeopleTec”.

We are also proud to announce that both Susie Vaughn and Chris Hemphill were honored with the “Most Valuable Employee” in Huntsville/Madison County award. Susie was acknowledged as Huntsville/Madison County’s first three-time winner of this distinguished award. Susie and Chris were two of the 12 winners chosen from a field of over 4,000 local employees and were nominated by their fellow employees for “going the extra mile” to have a strong, positive impact on the company. Other PeopleTec employees recognized as contenders for this award were Jennifer Cooper, Anna Catherine Cowley, Tasha Jones and Lindsey Smith.
