Scripps Health Selects MEDSEEK For Enterprise Digital Health Solution

Birmingham, AL — MEDSEEK, the provider of the healthcare industry’s only enterprise strategic patient engagement and management solution, today announced an agreement with Scripps Health to deliver an enterprise digital health solution for physicians, employees and patients to improve communication and collaboration, establish online clinical and business transactional capabilities to improve operational efficiencies and attract and retain patients.

MEDSEEK’s enterprise software suite will support Scripps in meeting federal Meaningful Use Stage 2 requirements for patient access to electronic health records while providing advanced functionality. The suite, which leverages Scripps’ existing investment in SharePoint 2010, also positions the organization for accountable care.

“Our goal is to create a robust online environment that allows patients to use the Web to schedule appointments, view lab and test results, request prescriptions, attend virtual medical consultations (eVisits), and communicate securely with their Scripps physicians and caregivers, while also offering our physicians and employees to work more efficiently through online collaboration tools, and Web-based clinical and business functions,” said Don Stanziano, Scripps Health Corporate Vice President, Marketing Communications.

“We’re honored to have been selected by Scripps Health,” said Peter Kuhn, MEDSEEK CEO. “Scripps is a prestigious and forward-thinking healthcare organization that understands, in the highly competitive healthcare market, strategic patient engagement and management will prove to be the market differentiator. Providing a rich, integrated patient and physician experience is essential to driving loyalty, satisfaction, engagement and acquisition. ”
